Odd Facts and Curious Miscellania. Hello there, this is Alex. Writing a little announcement here. Most Odd was a little blog and a small idea I started about 13 months ago. It has helped me learn, improved my writing and given me something to do when I am bored. Beyond all of that it has allowed me to help people find new things as well. Friday, November 25, 2011. So long, farewell, adieu. It is with a heavy heart. That tonight I pull the plug on. This blog has been about the family. Our dreams, our plans. Now I have to find my own dreams. And make my own plans. And those dreams and plans. Deserve a place of their own. But it is important that I not. Saying how much I have enjoyed the trip. Continuing as the flying surgeon. As some of you may have noticed this blog has been inactive the last couple of years. When I started this blog I worked in Denmark, but in 2011, after I became a board-certified surgeon, I made a significant change to my life and for the past 5 years I have worked mainly in humanitarian and war surgery with Doctors without Borders and ICRC. As well as working as an offshore medic on an oil rig in Angola.
